Piazza Vittorio Emanuele
Piazza Vittorio Emanuele is the administrative core of the city. The square has a shape very similar to an amphitheatre and it is surrounded by a open pedestrian route full of shops. Continue walking and you will enter in Corso Italia, the most important street of Pisa.
Lungarno Galilei & Lungarno Mediceo
You can go always straight ahead until you arrive next to the Arno, turn on your right before crossing it and you will be in the famous Lungarno Galilei. The so called lungarni are the roads that run just along the Arno river. Along the street there are many restaurants and cafes where you can have a break.
Piazza dei Cavalieri & The Square of Miracles
Continue walking and you will finally arrive in Piazza dei Cavalieri, a square always crowded by people and university students. This piazza is also home of the prestigious Scuola Normale, one of the best university in Italy.
